REALTOR® Code of Ethics & Fair Housing Requirements
All REALTORS® are required to complete Code of Ethics & Fair Housing training to maintain their membership with NAR. This ensures that REALTORS® remain informed about their ethical duties and understand how to navigate complex situations with integrity.
Training Frequency: REALTORS® must complete the Code of Ethics & Fair Housing training once every three years.
Duration: Each training takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours to complete.
Delivery Options: Courses are available online through NAR-approved providers.
We are currently in the 2025–2028 training cycle, which ends on December 31, 2028. All REALTORS® must complete their training by this deadline to remain in good standing.
*Failure to meet this requirement could result in suspension of membership until the training is completed.
